The Isaacs Method
for Emotional Mastery
Most people think change is difficult. There are a lot of reasons why. It’s why we get stuck in old patterns wanting to change but not changing.
I’ve talked and written a lot about how change can be easy, right? And you’ve heard or read about my approach to creating new neural pathways that support the change you want, right? And that when we have that new neural pathway, we have more choice.
If you’ve had any of these experiences —
- someone pushed your buttons, and what happened next shifted your emotions and challenged or even ended that relationship;
- life threw you a curve ball which stopped you in your tracks, you got upset and it ruined your day;
- as a team leader working with all kinds of people, you get frustrated when people don’t do their jobs,

Having the life we want in personal and business relationships, living the values we hold high and being the person we want to be requires that we have choice.
Having choice requires that we learn how to create new neural pathways that support that choice.
Yes, you’ve heard me say all this before.
However, I just had an A-B-C moment. Here it is:
In a conversation with a friend, I was literally taken aback when he suggested I brand my work by actually using my name. My whole body shifted backwards — I was simultaneously excited and afraid.
As I sat with it, a familiar voice in my head started telling me all the reasons I couldn’t do this. That was the voice of The Small Me. Then the voice started to get smaller and smaller until it disappeared. In its place was a big, whole body “YES, I CAN!”
And then clarity emerged.
