How do YOU ask for help?
That includes not just “what” you say, but HOW you say it! That’s HUGE! I’ve learned that when people aren’t used to doing it, they’re thrilled when they finally find their voice, and it’s easy for it to come out full throttle!, sounding (unintentionally) like a demand.
Well, that doesn’t go so well.
We’re not meant to do life alone. Asking for help is NOT a sign of weakness. In fact, it builds connection. Things get done more quickly, more easily and possibly better! AND, it can be more fun along the way. So why is it so difficult for so many?
